Daniel Layman is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Davidson College. He is the author of Locke Among the Radicals: Liberty and Property in the Nineteenth Century (New York, NY: Oxford University Press, 2020) and the co-author (with Michael Huemer) of Do Governments Have Moral Authority?
