Ross Emmett is Professor of Economic Thought and Director of the Center for the Study of Economic Liberty, School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership, Arizona State. He is the author of Frank Knight & the Chicago School in American Economics (Routledge, 2009) and, The Elgar Companion to the Chicago School of Economics (2010). More recently, he published “The Writing and Reception of Risk, Uncertainty and Profit” in the Cambridge Journal of Economics 45 (2021), 883-900; and “Uncertainty and the Social Organization of Economic Activity” in the Journal of Institutional Economics 17.6 (2021), 1-13.
