Author Biography

Rutger Lazou, Heidelberg University, Germany

Rutger Lazou received his PhD in philosophy at the University of Graz and currently holds a postdoctoral position at the University of Heidelberg. His research focuses on political philosophy, environmental ethics, and climate justice. During his doctoral research, he worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve and the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. He also did research on the just energy transition in Austria (for the TransFair project at the University of Graz) and Belgium (for the Fundamental Rights Centre at the University of Brussels). In collaboration with Uitgeverij Houtekiet, he also published his book De toekomst van de kat [The Future of Cats].
