Loi?c Charles is professor of economics at the University of Reims Champagne Ardenne (URCA), researcher at the Institut National d’Etudes De?mographiques (INED), and EconomiX (University of Paris Ouest and CNRS/UMR 7235). He has worked and published on eighteenth-century French economics and economic history as well as the history of visualization in social sciences.
