Camilla Barbieri, University of Eastern Piedmont, Italy

Camilla Barbieri is a PhD candidate in Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Eastern Piedmont. Her research focuses on territorial rights and the justifications for state sovereignty. In particular, she is interested in identifying a theory that can both serve as an acceptable justification for the territorial rights of states and, at the same time, act as an action-guiding tool for taking concrete positions in some current territorial disputes.

Matteo Boccacci, University of Pavia

Matteo Boccacci is a PhD candidate in Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Pavia. His research focuses on freedom, particularly analyzing its value. He was awarded the Res Publica Postgraduate Essay Prize for his article titled 'Domination and Freedom: Quality, not Quantity’.
