Author Biographies

Ha-Joon Chang, SOAS University of London, United Kingdom

Ha-Joon Chang is a Distinguished Research Professor at the Department of Economics, at SOAS University of London. His research interests are in the areas of political economy, institutional economics, development economics, economic pluralism, the role of ideology in economics, and mass economic literacy.

Teemu Lari, University of Helsinki, Finland

Teemu Lari recently obtained a doctorate from the University of Helsinki and from January 2025 will be a visiting postdoctoral fellow at Leibniz University Hannover. His research interests include scientific pluralism, values in science, the relationship between science and politics, and philosophy of expertise, especially as those issues relate to economics. His current work focuses on the philosophy economic expertise.
